How does Certification differ from the Accelerator or Mastermind memberships?
While all AFCSI memberships provide immense value, they serve different purposes:

Mastermind Membership provides ongoing, high-level peer support and access to the FAST App.

How long does a certification program take?
Each Pathway Certification (e.g., Growth Pathway, Culture Pathway) is an intensive 4-month (16-week) program. This includes weekly training sessions, practical homework assignments, and peer group discussions.
What is the process to become certified?
AFCSI offers a clear, market-focused path to becoming a certified expert in business transformation. Our credentialing is designed to signify deep expertise in the practical application of the FAST Framework.
Pathway-Specific Certification

Each certification is awarded upon successful completion of the intensive 4-month pathway training program, which culminates in the submission of a comprehensive written case study and a final assessment interview. To ensure the highest standards, we also incorporate a performance evaluation (a review of a recorded coaching session) to assess the real-time application of our Core Competencies.
Master FAST Coach Designation
The pinnacle of professional achievement within our framework is the Master FAST Coach designation. This is awarded to elite practitioners who have successfully achieved certification in all four FAST Pathways and have submitted a Business Impact Portfolio (BIP)—a collection of verifiable case studies demonstrating significant, measurable business results achieved for clients.
What support does AFCSI provide after I complete my certification?
AFCSI believes that certification is the beginning of a coach’s professional journey, not the end. Our commitment is not just to certify your expertise, but to ensure you can successfully apply it.
Immediately following your successful certification, you are enrolled in our 12-week FAST Coach Business Launch Program. This is a small-group coaching experience designed exclusively to help new Certified FAST Coaches build a thriving practice.
As part of this post-certification support program, you will receive:

What happens after I am certified? Is there a renewal process?
Excellence is an ongoing commitment. To ensure the highest standards of practice, all AFCSI certifications must be renewed every two years.
Recertification Requirements:
Recertification is a formal audit process that requires certified coaches to submit evidence of:
Continuing Professional Development (CPD): A log of completed formal training hours in relevant areas.
Active Practice: A coaching logbook detailing their ongoing client work.
Mandatory Coaching Supervision:
Distinct from the recertification audit, supervision is an ongoing, mandatory developmental process for all certified FAST Coaches. It is a cornerstone of our commitment to ethical and high-impact practice.
What is Supervision? It is a formal, collaborative dialogue with a qualified and AFCSI-accredited supervisor. Its purpose is to help the coach continuously develop their skills, ensure they are working ethically, and provide support for their well-being.
Why is it Essential? The high-stakes nature of FAST Coaching—navigating complex business challenges, managing sensitive commercial data, and being accountable for ROI—makes supervision a necessity. It is the critical support structure for managing the unique ethical and practical dilemmas a FAST Coach faces.
How it Works: Coaches must engage in a minimum number of supervision hours annually (e.g., one hour of supervision per 35 hours of coaching). In these confidential sessions, they bring anonymized case studies and challenges to a supervisor, who helps them reflect, gain new perspectives, and find the best path forward.
What does the 'license to use the FAST Framework' include?
Upon successful certification, you receive a license to:
Deliver FAST Pathway Coaching using AFCSI’s proprietary systems for 1:1 and group engagements.
Utilize the FAST Playbooks and official diagnostic tools (like the FAST Matrix and CDC) as core components of your coaching programs.

At AFCSI, we are deeply committed to the quality and impact of the FAST Coach Certification program. This is an intensive professional program designed to deliver transformative results. Our curriculum is field-tested, our facilitators are certified Master FAST Coaches, and our mission is to provide you with the frameworks and skills to become a truly high-impact business coach. We believe in our process, and we are committed to partnering with you on your success.
Our “Right Fit” Guarantee (14-Day Refund Window)
We understand that certification is a significant investment of your time, energy, and resources. We also know that the best learning happens when there is a strong sense of mutual commitment between the participant, the cohort, and the program.
For this reason, we offer a 14-day “right fit” period for all our cohort-based certification programs.
You can participate fully in the first two weeks of the program. If, after actively engaging in the first two live sessions and completing the initial homework, you feel the program is not the right fit for you, you may request a full refund of your program fee. Refund requests must be submitted to our support team before the start of the third live session.
After the 14-Day Period
After the 14-day “right fit” period has passed, we do not offer refunds. Here’s why:
Protecting the Cohort Experience: A committed, stable cohort is essential for building the trust and psychological safety required for deep learning. Withdrawals after this point can disrupt the dynamic for all remaining members.
Protecting Our Intellectual Property: By the third week, participants will have received access to a substantial portion of the proprietary FAST Framework materials, playbooks, and tools. As these are digital goods that cannot be “returned,” we must protect their value.

A Note on Quarterly Membership Renewals
Please note that the above policy applies to the Certification Program fee itself. For your underlying AFCSI Membership, we offer a separate 48-hour grace period for any accidental quarterly renewals.
